An open-air concert program was presented at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory as part of the 18th International Music Festival, APA reports.
The event was attended by Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, ministry employees, musicians from Turkic states, and cultural and public figures.
Speaking at the event, Rector of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Professor Kamila Dadashzade, highlighted the significance of the event and noted that the music festival had become a tradition.
The rector described the festival's expansion in scale year after year as a cultural achievement.
Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, in turn, drew attention to the strategic and cultural aspects of the festival, stating that it is a major platform showcasing the deep roots, richness, strength and power of Azerbaijani music on a global scale.
The speeches were followed by a concert program.
