Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Court has extended the house arrest of businessman Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, by another two months, APA reports citing Armenian media.
Judge Vahe Dolmazyan announced the court's decision.
The judge stated that, taking into account the progress of the case—including the content of witness testimonies—it was concluded that the grounds justifying the imposition of house arrest have not yet ceased to exist.
Consequently, a decision was made to extend the house arrest measure imposed on Samvel Karapetyan for an additional two months.
