A drug operation has been carried out in Istanbul targeting individuals, including celebrities, APA reports.
The operation was conducted by officers of the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command as part of a "drug investigation targeting celebrities" led by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
A total of 15 people were detained during the operation.
Those detained include actor Aras Bulut İynemli, singer Sefo (Seyfullah Sağır), actresses Melis Sezen and Nilperi Şahinkaya, Hande Demir, former footballer Hasan Şaş, actresses Melis İşiten and Yeliz Yeşilçimen, singer Anıl Durmuş, actress Hazal Filiz Küçükköse, Volkan Akçıray, Zeynep Akçıray, Eda Güzelcik, Sezer Çakır, and Sayat Zurnacı.
Additionally, detention orders have reportedly been issued for three more individuals.
The investigation is ongoing.
