OSCE PA chairman visits Georgia

Tiflis. Nizami Mammadzadeh â€“ APA. Today the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE led by the chairman Riccardo Migliori has arrived in Georgia with 3 days-visit. APAâ€™s Georgian bureau repots that OSCE PA vice president Tonino Picula also accompanies the delegation within its visit to Tiflis.

The chairman of OSCE PA Georgian delegation Gigi Tsereteli told journalists that the delegationâ€™s visit to Georgia aims to analyze the situation in the country before the election: â€œDelegation will familiarize with pre-election situation in Georgia, and will monitor the election campaign of political partiesâ€.

According to information, OSCE delegation will meet with representatives of the political spectrum of Georgia, international and local observer organizations, also with members of the election administration, the leadership of the parliament and the diplomatic corps.

During the visit, also expected meeting with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili.
