Baku-APA. Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Araqchi denied Friday the allegations by an exiled opposition group that Tehran is building a secret nuclear site, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Araqchi, dismissed the claim as "a mere lie," saying that "This report is by no means true and is denied," according to Press TV.
The France-based dissident National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) announced Thursday it possesses intelligence that Iran is building a secret underground nuclear site near the capital city of Tehran. The announcement did not specify what kind of activities that the country might carry out in the alleged site under construction.
