U.S. President Donald Trump said he is not seeking regime change in Iran, APA reports.
"I am not seeking regime change. In fact, this is already a regime change. The first regime is gone, the second regime is gone as well. This is the third regime, and I think this regime is behaving more reasonably," Trump said during remarks at the White House.
He stated that when he launched the war against Iran, his primary objective was to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Trump also stressed that the United States would take possession of the "nuclear dust" in Iran (more than 400 kilograms of enriched uranium).
