Also, on the night of July 6, a strike was carried out on a key facility of the 330 kV 'Simferopolskaya' main power grid in Simferopol. This substation became the 38th energy infrastructure facility hit by Ukrainian drones in Crimea and the southern occupied territories.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are methodically striking energy facilities in occupied Crimea. After the attack on the night of July 6, according to local public reports, the entire peninsula was left without electricity, and in some areas communication also went down.
It should be added that during June, Ukrainian military personnel, using Ukrainian-made middle-strike UAVs, already struck key Crimean bridges near Chongar and Armyansk. The strikes were carried out using FP-2 drones, manufactured by Fire Point, and 'Behemoth'. The bridge connecting the Kherson region with Crimea in Chongar was hit twice – on the night of June 6-7, and also on the night of June 9.
