Simultaneous searches are currently being carried out at more than 70 locations across Armenia as part of an investigation, the country's Investigative Committee said, Armenpress reports.
According to the Committee, the operational measures are being conducted within the framework of investigations into dozens of criminal cases being handled by the Investigative Committee.
The Investigative Committee confirmed reports that a search is being carried out at the residence of Gagik Tsarukyan, chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party, noting that the necessary investigative and procedural actions in the criminal case are ongoing. No additional information has yet been provided regarding the reasons for the searches or the nature of the criminal cases.
