An armed clash broke out between Iranian police and the PJAK terrorist group, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
According to the spokesperson for the Iranian police, a group affiliated with the PJAK terrorist organization was neutralized in the border area near the city of Baneh in Iran's western Kurdistan Province.
Iranian police said four members of the terrorist group were killed during the armed confrontation between border guards and PJAK members.
According to the report, several pistols, magazines, ammunition, hand grenades and a large quantity of other weapons and military equipment were seized during searches conducted at the scene and inside a vehicle.
