The ceasefire agreement in Gaza will come into force on January 19. The agreement will consist of three stages, the first stage of which will last 42 days, this was stated in a statement by Qatar, Egypt and the United States, which are involved as mediators in the negotiations between the Hamas movement and Israel, APA reports.
“The Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar and the United States of America announced that the parties to the conflict in Gaza have reached an agreement on the exchange of hostages for prisoners and permanent stability. At the same time, the parties have agreed on a permanent ceasefire that will come into force on January 19, 2025,” the statement said.
