US President Donald Trump believes Saudi Arabia should accept Israel's assistance in the fight against the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah (Houthis), APA reports.
"I think so," he said, answering a question on the matter while speaking to reporters on the South Lawn of the White House.
"Israel has already been very helpful to Saudi Arabia, and they will certainly do so again," the American leader added.
Trump also responded affirmatively to a question about whether Saudi Arabia is again considering joining the Abraham Accords to normalize relations with Israel.
"I think so, more than ever. The Abraham Accords are one of our greatest achievements. Saudi Arabia is happy to have the support of Israel and us," he said.
