The United States intends to continue its efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, considering it to be only a matter of time before it is overcome, Vice President JD Vance said, APA reports.
"We're going to keep on trying to solve it. Do I think it'll get solved eventually? Yes. It's just a question of time," he told reporters at the Andrews military base near Washington before departing for a working trip to North Carolina.
Vance confirmed that US President Donald Trump plans to meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy later this week.
"I believe he's meeting with President Zelenskyy either tomorrow or the day after. So I'm sure there's going to be some good progress made," he said.
