The US military has completed another series of strikes against Iran, marking the third attack against the Islamic Republic in the past week, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) published this information on its "X" account.
According to a statement from CENTCOM, the attack was carried out in response to Iran's attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report, the US Armed Forces struck approximately 140 Iranian military facilities on Sunday night.
"U.S. forces struck approximately 140 Iranian military targets using high-precision munitions. Targets included Iranian missile and drone storage sites, Navy assets, ammunition depots, communications networks, and coastal observation posts," CENTCOM said in a statement.
The command said that during three rounds of attacks carried out during the week, the US struck a total of more than 300 targets in Iran.
