“I decided to travel around the world a little earlier when I was in Turkey. And I started my trip from Istanbul,” the Dutchman told APA.
The tourist said he learned a lot about Azerbaijan during his 20-day trip.
According to him, traveling on foot, you can get to know the country better and often communicate with people. “I had the opportunity to communicate with the people of your country, they are very sincere,” said Van Rossum.
The guest said during his trips, depending on weather conditions he sleeps either in a tent or in a hotel.
Van Rossum noted that every month he spends nearly $700 on a journey and passes at least 30-40 kilometers per day.
“Traveling on food is good, but sometimes I encounter difficulties. It is very boring to walk on long deserted roads,” said the Dutchman.
He is planning to travel to Iran and Turkmenistan, and then complete their journey in China.
