2 138,7 thousand or 8,2% more in comparison with the same period of 2018 foreigners or non-citizens from 190 countries of the world have visited Azerbaijan in January-August of this year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
30,6% of the visitors came from Russia, 22,1% from Georgia, 9,5% Turkey, 7,7% Iran, 4% Saudi Arabia, 2,2% United Arab Emirates, 1,8% Ukraine and India each, 1,7% Iraq, 1,5% Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, 1,4% Israel, 1,3% Pakistan, 1,2% UK, 11,6% citizens of other countries, 0,1% non-citizens visited Azerbaijan. 65,9% of visitors were male, 34,1% females.
