Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Etibar Mirzayev and Chief of the State Fire Protection Service, Major-General Fuzuli Asadov attended the opening ceremony of the fire protection unit.
All conditions were created for the personnel of the unit that will ensure fire protection of residential areas and industrial facilities in some parts of the Nizami, Khatai and Sabunchu districts.
The unit has been provided with the most modern fire-fighting vehicles.

Baku. Farid Mirzayev – APA. Binagadi District Fire Department of the Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry’s State Fire Protection Service has opened a new fire protection unit.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Etibar Mirzayev and Chief of the State Fire Protection Service, Major-General Fuzuli Asadov.
The area of the unit with the staff of 38 people is 48 acres. The unit is intended to protect residential areas and industrial facilities in Mehdiabad and Binagadi settlements, as well as in Balakhani and Novkhani districts.
The unit’s administrative building, which has three exits, is equipped with the most modern facilities. All conditions have been created for activities of the personnel.
In the area of the unit, there is a fire station, checkpoint, boiler room, pumping station, reservoir and car wash. There are dispatcher, training, recruitment and rest rooms and a canteen in the administrative building.
The unit has been provided with two most modern fire-fighting vehicles.
Moreover, Surakhani District Fire Department of the Emergency Situations Ministry’s State Fire Protection Service opened a new fire protection unit.
The unit that will protect residential areas and industrial facilities in Pirshaghi, Kurdakhani and Fatmayi settlements has been provided with 2 most modern fire-fighting vehicles.
