Central Bank of Azerbaijan discusses cryptoasset regulation with Binance

Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Vusal Khalilov has met with a delegation led by Kirill Khomyakov, Binance's Regional Head for Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS, and Africa, APA-Economics reports, citing the CBA.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of a regulatory framework for cryptoassets, the testing of innovative cryptoasset-related products under a special regulatory regime, opportunities for the tokenization of real-world assets, and the experiences of other countries in these areas.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on potential areas of cooperation with Binance in these initiatives.
