Replacing the minimum period of annual leave (21 calendar days) with financial compensation will be prohibited, APA reports.
This is reflected in a proposed amendment to the Labor Code.
Except for the case stipulated in Article 144.2 of the Labor Code (payment of compensation upon termination of employment), it is proposed to prohibit replacing the minimum period of annual leave (21 calendar days), established under Article 114.2 of the Code, with financial compensation.
At the same time, the draft amendment clarifies the concept of postponing annual leave or part of it to another period and establishes the circumstances under which annual leave or part of it may be postponed in a comprehensive and precise manner.
Within the framework of the draft law, relevant amendments will also be made to other sector-specific laws concerning this right.
