The state fee for issuing veterinary passports in Azerbaijan will be AZN 30, APA reports.
This is reflected in a proposed amendment to the Law "On State Duty."
Currently, the state fee for issuing a veterinary passport is set at AZN 20.
In accordance with the "Rules for Keeping Dogs, Cats and Other Pets in Settlements of the Republic of Azerbaijan," approved by Resolution No. 38 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 9, 2011, the transportation of pets to foreign countries requires the issuance of the relevant passport.
In this regard, veterinary passports were issued for 2,073 applications in 2024 and 2,114 applications in 2025.
Due to the increase in the number of applications, financial resources required for issuing passports, and other expenses during these years, it is proposed to raise the state fee for issuing veterinary passports from AZN 20 to AZN 30.
