A passenger plane flying from Dublin to Rome received a bomb threat, the office of French Interior Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced, APA reports.
It was reported that following the bomb threat, the aircraft was diverted to an airbase in northern France.
The situation was reported to be under control.
It should be noted that at least seven aircraft and one cruise ship have received bomb threats in Europe in recent days. Although these threats caused serious disruptions at airports, no explosive devices were found. Two flights to Warsaw, two to Sofia, two to Rome, and one to Spain's Murcia Airport were subjected to bomb threats.
