K. Heydarov said 651 people, 257 of them being children were rescued in different emergency cases this year, adding that rescuers removed 204 people out of deformed vehicles. He noted that 261 drowning people were rescued and bodies of 73 people were found.
“Over the first eleven month of this year, 36 000 events were held to monitor the safe execution of works in oil and gas industry, mining, metallurgy and processing industry, road and rail transport of dangerous goods, more than 14 000 dangerous cases were detected, 402 devices and equipments were banned from use,” he added.
