Korean Embassy in Azerbaijan awards pupils from Kalbajar

Baku. Zumrud Pashayeva – APA. Korean Embassy in Azerbaijan has held "Children Want Peace" essay and drawing contest at the secondary school #11 under the new settlement for refugees and internally displaced persons in Ganja.

According to Embassy, the contest was held under the support of State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Ganja Executive Power and Kalbajar Executive Power.

100 pupils were provided a meaningful opportunity to test their skills in writing and drawing under the theme of peace and the future, and Azerbaijan and Korea. After the contest,, the winners of the contest were awarded an electronic tablet, school bags, and stationery sets according to their places in the competition. Later, children got acquainted with most well-known Korean food, alongside the Embassy staff.

Halla Corporation and Ultra Construction & Engineering, Korean companies operating in Azerbaijan, joined the event and made a donation as part of their corporate social responsibility.
