He mentioned that the risks of violation of children are increasing day by day in Europe: “Therefore, ensuring the children’s rights, improving the legislation in this regard and strengthening the control over its implementation are actual issues.”
He recalled that one third of the world population and one fifth of the European population are children.
“40 percent of the population in Azerbaijan is children, juveniles and those under the age of 25. This once again shows the importance of provision of children’s rights”, he added.
