The SSAC is interested in the issues related to Nagizade’s illegal activities being investigation, according to Abbaszade. “However, Naghizade’s activities had not affected the SSAC’s work. As you know, he was a commission spokesman,” she added.
“I expressed my attitude towards the activity of Elnur Naghizade in November last year and dismissed him,” Abbaszade said.
“We conducted an internal investigation into complaints filed in January this year by two citizens about illegal activities of Elnur Naghizade,” the chairwoman said, assuring that these complaints have nothing to do with the commission’s work.
It was reported a few days ago that Baku residents Vusal Ibrahimov vÉ™ Zaur Asgarov appealed to law enforcement agencies that they gave $150,000 to Elnur Naghizade in August 2015 in order to get a job. They noted that they were not provided with work and they couldn’t get their money back. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the case.
Naghizade, who is abroad, refuted all the accusations.
