Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. The fact of illegal students admission to Lankaran State Humanitarian College has been revealed in Azerbaijan.
The file submitted by the State Students Admission Commission (SSAC) regarding the illegal students admission to Lankaran State Humanitarian College was investigated in the Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General, press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office told APA.
The monitoring of the state e-database system “Student-Graduate” revealed grounds to suspect that 69 applicants, who participated in the entrance exams held for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 academic years and failed to gain minimum passing score, were illegally admitted to the college by falsifying some instructions of SSAC.
A criminal case has been launched on the fact under the Article #308.1 (abusing official powers) of the Criminal Code.
The investigation is underway on the fact.
