Baku. Farid Mirzayev – APA. Along with the successes, there are drawbacks as well. Some judges allow gross violation of human rights, creation of artificial barriers to implementation of citizens’ rights, application of documents in poor quality and sometimes formally, non-procedural relations with the parties contrary to requirements of the law, and infringement of the principle of competition of the parties.

Chief of Yasamal District Court, Chairman of the Public Union of Courts' Judges Aladdin Jafarov told the aforesaid on Saturday, APA reports.

He said that under the decision of the Judicial-Legal Council, as a result of investigation of disciplinary proceedings, 8 judges were reprimanded, 2 were remarked, and a judge’s workplace was changed. Currently, disciplinary proceedings are being investigated against three judges.

Jafarov noted that work is underway to improve the court activity: “As a result, people’s ability to access to court is expanding, drawbacks are generally prevented. Confidence in the courts is increasing year by year.”
