A mud eruption has been recorded at the Lokbatan mud volcano, the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Ministry of Science and Education told APA.
It was noted that the center's seismic monitoring network for mud volcanoes recorded a new eruption of the Lokbatan Mud Volcano on April 9, 2025, at 04:04 local time.
It was reported that the eruption was registered in three phases at different times. The first phase occurred at 04:04 local time, the second phase at 05:20, and the third phase at 05:31.
The eruption lasted for 3 minutes, with a depth of 4 km.
