The Russian army struck a civilian grain-carrying vessel in neutral waters of the Black Sea with two drones, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a post on X, APA reports.
According to him, the vessel was Turkish-owned. The captain was killed in the attack.
Zelensky said Azerbaijani and Indian citizens were on board the vessel.
“Unfortunately, the captain of the vessel was killed. The fate of another person is being clarified,” the Ukrainian President said.
He added that 11 people were rescued from the vessel, one of whom was injured.
