Discussions on Georgia will be held at the European Parliament on October 7, stated in an information published on the institution’s website, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to the information, the topic of the debate will be “Attempts by the ruling Georgian Dream party to ban opposition parties in Georgia.”
Following the discussions, a vote on a resolution concerning the issue will be held on October 8.
It should be noted that several critical resolutions concerning Georgia have been adopted by the European Parliament over the past year. The Georgian authorities say the resolutions have no value for the country.
