A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with a delegation led by Turkish Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Adnan Ertem, the Ministry told APA.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are at the level of brotherhood and strategic alliance. He noted that, as in other areas, cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor and social protection is constantly developing and expanding. Providing information on the achievements of social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the minister emphasized that successful cooperation has been carried out with Türkiye’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security in the process of these reforms.
The importance of the targeted work carried out by the Joint Standing Commission between the two ministries to develop cooperation in the field of labor and social protection was highlighted. It was noted that regular contacts and mutual visits make an important contribution to deepening relations. Adnan Ertem expressed satisfaction with the continuous development and expansion of cooperation and noted the importance of exchanging experience.
The meeting discussed the cooperation agenda between the two ministries and issues related to developing ties in the field of social protection.
