Today, the keys to their homes were handed over to families who arrived in the Hadrut and Girmizi Bazar settlements with the next relocation caravan, APA’s regional correspondent reports.
After welcoming the newly relocated families, ANAMA employees provided them with detailed information about the dangers posed by mines and unexploded ordnance. The families were advised to stay away from unfamiliar and unknown objects and to inform the relevant authorities if they encounter such situations.
Employees of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and other officials attended the key handover ceremony.
The families joyfully received the keys and settled into their homes.
The former internally displaced persons who returned to their native lands expressed great satisfaction with the state care shown to them and conveyed their deep gratitude to the country’s leadership for the modern living conditions created. The residents respectfully commemorated the dear memory of the heroic martyrs who gave their lives to liberate the country’s lands from occupation and grant this historic Victory, praying for God’s mercy upon them. At the same time, wishing long life and good health to the veterans who demonstrated bravery in the battles, the residents emphasized that the revival of the liberated territories has been made possible thanks to this sacrifice. They stressed that the new life beginning today is also the fruit of the Victory entrusted to them by the martyrs and veterans.
It should be noted that at this stage, 10 families — 47 people — have been relocated to the Hadrut settlement of Khojavand, and 20 families — 91 people — to the Girmizi Bazar settlement. These are families who had been temporarily accommodated in dormitories, sanatoriums, camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative facilities in various parts of the country.
