“There is no danger for Azerbaijan from the earthquake that occurred in Dagestan,” Gurban Yetirmishli, the Director General of the Republican Seismic Survey Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), said in an interview with APA.
“Earthquakes occur almost daily in Azerbaijan. However, no strong earthquake is expected in any region. There were aftershocks of magnitude 1.2-1.3 there. But none of them were felt,” he said.
