Vendors picket outside Baku Mayorâ€™s office

Vendors whose trade establishments around Azizbayov metro station in Baku have been knocked down again picketed outside the city Mayorâ€™s Office, APA reports.
First they went to the reception-room to meet with the city administration. As the city administration refused to receive them the vendors picketed outside the mayorâ€™s office.
About 40 vendors demanded meeting with the city administration. The police tried to remove them. After 15-minute quarrel with police, head of Baku Mayorâ€™s Office Executive Board Bakhtiyar Farajbayli received them.
Vendor Shahmar Gurbanov told the APA after the meeting that Farajbayli said Baku Mayorâ€™s Office took all necessary steps concerning the problem, they appealed to Nizami executive office and the vendors will be provided with places.
â€œWe believe that we will be provided with places. We have nothing to do but believe Nizami executive office. If officials promise they will probably keep their promise,â€ he said.
Gurbanov said that they only want places in Nizami district.
Trade establishments and Merkuri trade center around Azizbayov metro station in Baku were knocked down, due to the construction of circle road. /APA/
