Disabled Karabakh veterans and martyrs’ families provided with new flats in Gazakh

A solemn opening of 16-flat building constructed for disabled Karabakh veterans and martyrs’ families was held in Gazakh region, APA’s local bureau reports. Eight of the 16 flats have been built for disabled Karabakh veterans, and the rest 8 for martyrs’ families.
The building was constructed in the framework of the state program on social-economic development of regions. Chief of social protection department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population Ibrahim Heydarov and head of Gazakh executive office Rauf Huseynov also participated in the opening ceremony. They presented keys of the new flats to disabled Karabakh veterans and martyrs’ families.
34 multistoried and 224 individual houses have been given to disabled Karabakh veterans and martyrs’ families in different places of the country.1,226 disabled persons and martyrs’ families have been provided with flats. 390 more flats are planned to be given to these families in Tovuz, Ismayilli, Zagatala, Shamakhi and Baku.
