On June 26, a delegation led by Denis Afanasyev, Vice Governor and Chairman of the Government of Russia's Astrakhan Region, visited Azerbaijan's Gubadli district, APA's correspondent dispatched to Gubadli reports.
As part of the visit, the delegation, accompanied by Abdin Farzaliyev, Head of the Absheron District Executive Authority, inspected the ongoing construction of a preschool education institution being built in Mahruzlu village of Gubadli with the support of the Government of the Astrakhan Region.
According to the information, the foundation of the 80-seat kindergarten was laid in December 2024. The building, consisting of three blocks with a basement and two floors, covers an area of 0.65 hectares. The total area of the building is 2,370 square meters, while the construction area is 1,906 square meters.
It was stated that the main construction works at the kindergarten have now been completed, while interior finishing works are continuing. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
The delegation also included Nikolay Shaydin, a deputy of the Astrakhan City Duma, Irakhid Mirishov, founder of Astrakhan Business Center LLC, Yelizaveta Gilyarevskaya, Second Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan, and Maria Alimova-Nefedova, Third Secretary of the embassy.
