Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov has clarified the process of issuing school-leaving certificates to students in grades 10–11 who do not comply with dress code regulations and fail to attend classes, he said on the issue in an interview with APA.
The deputy minister noted that the final assessment of students and the evaluation of their knowledge are regulated by Resolution No. 498 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 12, 2016.
"A student whose knowledge has not been assessed for any reason is not issued a certificate of general or complete secondary education," he said.
