On Monday, chief of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Narishkin presented Medal of Honor to the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh. According to APA, the Sheikh-al-Islam stressed the development of mutual relations between Azerbaijan and Russia. â€œRussian President Dmitriy Medvedev phoned and congratulated on my 60 years jubilee. I also express gratitude to the Russian leader for attention he honored meâ€. Pashazadeh said he had good relation with the Orthodox Church in Azerbaijan. â€œWe want peace in the Caucasus, but there are some forces that create conflicts in the Caucasus and donâ€™t allow the establishment of peace. Azerbaijan, as a tolerant country, wants peaceâ€. Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh said Baku would host large conference of the representatives of all religions on April 26, 2010. Sergei Narishkin presented the medal and expressed best wishes to the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office.
