Allahshukur Pashazadeh receives First Vice President of Iran

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh received First Vice President of Iran Rahim Mashaie, APA reports. Pashazadeh underlined the friendship of Iranian and Azerbaijani peoples.
â€œIranâ€™s protecting its independence is an example for us. We believe that Iran will do its best for ensuring Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity. There are forces that do not want us to be friends. But many values unite us,â€ Sheikh-ul-Islam said.

Allahshukur Pashazadeh presented the portrait depicting Icherisheher to the guest.
â€œEvery state has its heart. Our heart is Icherisheher,â€ he said.

Rahim Mashaie said Azerbaijan and Iran have common faith and history. He said both countries have great opportunities to strengthen the cooperation.
â€œIran supports the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijani people. Big states do not think about the interests of small nations, they think only about themselves,â€ he said.
