A report was made to President of Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev from the villages of Gazakh which were taken under control, APA reports.
The National Flag of Azerbaijan was raised in the villages of Baghanis Ayrym, Ashaghi Askipara, Kheyrimli, Kizilhajili of the Gazakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Note that delimitation works were carried out on the border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the Protocol signed at the 9th meeting of the State Commissions between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia. As a result, a 12.7 km long border line was determined, and with it, the territories of 4 villages of the Gazakh district of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baghanis Ayrym, Ashaghi Askipara, Kheyrimli, Kizilhajili, were returned to Azerbaijan (6.5 km2).
Today, the territories of the villages of Baghanis Ayrym, Ashaghi Askipara, Kheyrimli, Kizilhajili of the Gazakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan were taken under control by the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
