US President Donald Trump has said Washington made “great progress” following Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States.
Trump made the remarks while speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews near Washington after returning from Chicago, APA reports.
“We had an incredible meeting with Xi Jinping. It was a long meeting, actually lasted two days. Imagine that. We made great progress,” Trump said.
According to the US President, the talks have also resulted in “a lot of positive things” for American farmers.
