“As a logical continuation of the historic Victory achieved, as a result of the demonstration of strong political will and the local anti-terror measures carried out in 2023 at the cost of the blood and lives of our martyrs, the sovereignty of our state was fully restored and separatism in our country was brought to an end,” Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said at an event dedicated to the professional holiday of employees of the Prosecutor’s Office and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor’s Office, APA reports.
“Employees of the Prosecutor’s Office worked with all their strength, both during the war and in the post-war period, to identify, investigate, and inform the public about the damage caused to civilians and infrastructure by Armenian armed formations, as well as other crimes committed,” he said.
Kamran Aliyev said that the defendants in those cases were given appropriate punishments by the courts with the participation of the Prosecutor’s Office.
