The prices of most major assets in the cryptocurrency market declined over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.
According to the CoinMarketCap platform, Bitcoin fell by 1.34% over the past 24 hours to $83,248.04. However, the cryptocurrency has gained 2.30% over the past seven days and 7.32% over the past 30 days.
Ethereum fell by 1.73% to $2,648.48, BNB declined by 0.14% to $770.38, and Zcash dropped by 4.97% to $1,555.42. Monero lost 3.59%, Bitcoin Cash 4.71%, and Bittensor 4.06%.
Gold-backed PAX Gold (PAXG) also fell by 1.79% over the past 24 hours to $4,201.14.
The CoinMarketCap 20 index declined by 1.16% over the past 24 hours to 173.90 points.
Analysts say the decline in the cryptocurrency market is linked to profit-taking following the recent rally and investors adopting a more cautious approach toward risky assets. However, the renewed inflow of funds into spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US in recent weeks indicates that institutional demand continues, with approximately $4.6 billion flowing into these funds since August 19.
