US President Donald Trump said he had asked his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy not to attack energy infrastructure in Russia and that Zelenskyy had responded positively, UNN reports, citing Donald Trump.
According to Trump, in response to his request, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would “probably” refrain from striking oil facilities in Russia.
The US president emphasized that Ukraine’s attacks have reduced Russia’s oil refining capacity, including diesel fuel production, and that this has caused problems in the global oil market.
