Rules on measures to improve the activities of subsoil users engaged in the exploitation of non-metallic mineral deposits have been approved, APA reports.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed a decree in this regard.
These Rules were prepared on the basis of the Law “On Subsoil” and determine the improvement of the activities of subsoil users engaged in the exploitation of non-metallic mineral deposits and the temporary rules for regulating the use of non-metallic mineral deposits during the transition period determined in accordance with these Rules.
The main purpose of these Rules is to ensure the efficient use of non-metallic mineral deposits, to align the activities of subsoil users engaged in their exploitation with the requirements of regulatory legal acts governing relations in this field, including strict compliance with established requirements on the use and protection of subsoil, the creation of safe working conditions, as well as strengthening state control over environmental and natural landscape protection and the implementation of other comprehensive measures.
