Turkic States consider cross-broadcasting of member countries’ television channels

“It is important today to focus on joint initiatives that deliver real results,” Kanat Iskakov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said during his speech at the 7th meeting of ministers and high-ranking officials responsible for media and information of the Organization of Turkic States, APA reports.

As examples of joint initiatives, Kanat Iskakov highlighted the broadcasting of member states’ TV channels in each other’s territories; the production of feature and documentary films promoting the history, culture, tourism and investment potential of the states; content for children; and the preparation of joint recommendations on the ethical use of artificial intelligence, data protection, and combating manipulation.

“If we implement all these initiatives, we will raise our cooperation and activities to a new level, and I believe that we have great potential for this,” the deputy minister added.
