Three years since launch of “Globalinfo”

It has been three years since the launch of the news website Globalinfo.az, Azer Aykhan, the founder and CEO of the site, told APA.

Their goal from day one was to create a serious information resource and a professional media entity.

“Three years ago, we announced the launch of the news website Globalinfo.az. Our aim was to enter the market with a strong presence. That’s why the announcement of the project took considerable time. I purchased the domain that month and started designing the site, but we presented it to the public three months later. If you are creating an information portal, you need to work to ensure it emerges as a serious outcome. As an editor and classic newspaperman who has worked with readers for a long time, I knew that Azerbaijan needed a serious resource. Thankfully, our efforts paid off, and our expectations were realized. There is a significant audience for quality journalism in Azerbaijan. How successful Globalinfo.az has been, time will tell. Readers and media professionals can comment on that,” Azer Aykhan noted.

Globalinfo.az team became a reference source in a short time

According to him, there are quite a few serious and readable resources on the market, and the competition is extremely fierce.

“Each of us understands how difficult it is for a new website to find its place. In this environment where news spreads at cosmic speed, creating a website, making it readable, and turning it into a reference source is an extremely challenging process. Thankfully, the Globalinfo.az team managed to achieve this in a short time with a minimal staff. I am not highlighting only my own skills and experience here. The main reason for Globalinfo.az’s success today is the team. Despite being young and dedicated, the team meets complex criteria, and their role is undeniable,” the CEO emphasized.
