“This is the 12th meeting. We discussed the action plan we are working on within the framework of this meeting. Within the framework of the action plan, we considered the issues of organizing trilateral meetings of the member states of the organization, media forums and visits to various directions,” said Rasim Bagirov, Director of the Department of International Relations and Documentation of the Media Development Agency, to journalists at the 12th meeting of the Organization of Turkic States Media and Information Working Group held today, APA reports.
He said that each of the parties provided information on the activities they have carried out in the media field in their countries and the measures they have taken against disinformation:
“At the same time, various signed documents, the current status of the areas and platforms operating within the OTS, as well as future plans, were discussed. As the Azerbaijani delegation, we noted that cooperation with the OTS member states is one of the priority issues for Azerbaijan. We have close relations with those states".
He noted that there is a document called a roadmap between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan: "A number of events have been held within the framework of this document, and these events are of a mutual nature. Our cooperation with the states of the Turkic world is continuous and close."
