The Media Forum of the Organization of Turkic States is being held in Baku to strengthen cooperation between Turkic-speaking states in the field of media and communication, APA reports.
A panel session dedicated to the topic "Resilient and preventive steps against growing global information threats in the modern era: on the example of the media ecosystem of Turkic states" will be organized within the framework of the Forum.
During the panel session, the participants will discuss the strategic necessity of strengthening the resilience of the media ecosystem of Turkic states against the backdrop of the rapid increase in global information risks and the spread of disinformation campaigns across borders.
In the second panel session, which will be organized on the topic of "Possibilities for mutual cooperation between OTS member states in the digital media environment", views will be exchanged on the rapid changes taking place in the digital information environment and the importance of establishing more flexible and trust-based cooperation platforms between OTS countries.
Also within the framework of the forum, Eldar Rasulov, Media Relations Manager of the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, will make a presentation on "Media Opportunities within the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13)".
