The Azerbaijan–Georgia Media Forum is being held in Baku on the topic “The Role of Media in Building Public Trust and Information Security,” APA reports.
Within the framework of the forum, the first panel session will be devoted to “Strengthening the Media Ecosystem to Ensure Information Security.”
During the panel, media experts from Georgia and Azerbaijan will engage in a broad exchange of views on issues such as the multifaceted impact of technological evolution on the media environment, the protection of a reliable information environment, the transformation of social media into one of the main sources of information, and building more effective communication with various audiences through digital tools.
In the second panel session, to be held on “Joint Cooperation in Increasing Journalists’ Professionalism and Public Media Literacy,” speakers will share their views on enhancing journalists’ professionalism, raising public media literacy, and the role of bilateral cooperation in this field.
