Azerbaijani media representatives visiting Uzbekistan have visited the National Children’s Medical Center in Tashkent, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Uzbekistan reports.
Azerbaijani journalists familiarized themselves with the Center’s activities, the high-tech medical services provided to children, and its modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
The participants of the visit were informed about the structure of the medical institution, its specialized departments, and the modern medical technologies used there.
The National Children’s Medical Center is one of the most modern pediatric medical institutions in Uzbekistan. The Center has 280 beds, 12 inpatient departments, and 10 additional service departments.
In 2024, the institution became the first state medical organization in Uzbekistan to receive JCI international accreditation. (BMTM)
The Center provides specialized medical services in cardiology and cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, uro-nephrology, and other areas. According to the institution, advanced medical technologies and minimally invasive surgical methods are used in the treatment of critically ill children.
As part of the Azerbaijani journalists’ visit to the Center, they were also informed about projects being implemented in Uzbekistan’s healthcare sector and the development of modern medical infrastructure.
